CAN WE ARRIVE EARLY?

Please do not arrive early for your pre-scheduled session. If you booked your session for 1:00, you will not be called into your experience until 1:00. You are more than welcome to arrive early to explore our store, but please know that our sessions have been scheduled and organized down to the minute. 

HOW MANY CHILDREN & ADULTS ARE ALLOWED PER SESSION?

We allow only 4 children per session (no matter the age). Due to time & space limitations, we ask that you help us reserve this experience for your immediate family. If you have more than 4 children, you will need to book additional sessions. There are 4 groups per 30-minute time block. You can book additional sessions within the same time slot. There are no exceptions to this policy. 

WHAT WILL WE RECEIVE AS FAR AS THE “EXPERIENCE” GOES?

Our experience will be located in our World of Wonder Event Space (this space is within our Storybook walls, but separate from our bookstore- same address). Your group will enjoy:

-Multiple whimsical activities (we have brand new experiences in store this year… we do not want to spoil the surprises, but trust us, we have been working hard to make this year as magical as possible)

-Christmas craft

-Concoct a take-with-you mixture of reindeer food

-Visit with Santa

-Conclude your session with a nice warm cup of cocoa. 

Each child will receive a ticket that will be hole-punched by one of Santa’s helpers after participating in each activity/experience!

WILL PICTURES BE TAKEN WITH SANTA? 

Yes, but please know that your booking is highly focused on the entire experience as a whole. Your child will be personally greeted by Santa, who will mention an accomplishment from this past year or congratulate them on becoming a big brother or sister. (You will fill out a questionnaire for us closer to the time.) This encounter is incredibly special, and we do not want to disturb this time. Our photographer will be snapping pictures & Santa’s helper will help adjust clothing, hair & request smiles for the camera as they see fit. We create unforgettable moments with Santa, perfect for capturing memorable photos- but please note, this is not a full photography session. Our focus is on the joy of the visit, not fully staged photos. You will be emailed your pictures by November 25th for the November 8th sessions & by December 6th for the November 23rd sessions. 

WHAT IF MY CHILD WILL NOT SIT WITH SANTA & REFUSES TO SMILE?

We understand how frustrating and disappointing this can be. We cannot guarantee smiles or a joy-filled experience for your child. Some of our favorite pictures to look back on are those screaming moments with the big guy! What we can guarantee is we will do all that we can to make your little one feel at ease & comfortable. We will not force anyone to sit with Santa, and Santa will not either. Due to time limitations and a schedule to uphold, we will not be able to spend more than our allotted time with your little one if they are simply not having it. We also will not be able to offer any refunds for a less-than-happy child. 

I WANT TO ADD THE BOOK FROM SANTA, BUT CAN I PICK WHICH BOOK?

We choose newly released book options for our experience. If you add more than one, we will give different books unless you request otherwise. You are welcome to email that request when you submit your questionnaire. We love Christmas books, and we are very intentional with our selections. We hope that you will trust us on this- it’s books, and kind of what we do 🙂
